IWD – your doctors & your clinic

IWD - your doctors & your clinic - Medical Prime UK

How quickly time flies! This time last year we were excited to welcome two new doctors, Dr. Ashlesha Dhairyawan and Dr. Nicola Davies, to the Medical Prime team. Over the year, Dr Ash and Dr Niki, as they like to be called, have helped not only enhance our services with their skills and expertise but also increase our availability for appointments so that no-one has to wait too long to book a consultation.

Since the start of the new year, we have been even more busy in keeping the perimenopause and menopause conversation alive, particularly in the build up to celebrating International Women’s Day this month.

One of the key events I have attended was The Sleep Charity’s first Conference ‘Sleep for All’, of which I have been an Advisory Board Member. I was honoured to speak alongside distinguished colleagues in their field and promote the importance of sleep to women’s health and wellbeing, particularly during the perimenopause and menopause.

I was also delighted to deliver a ‘Menopause & Perimenopause Masterclass for Managers and Aspiring Managers’ at Imperial College London and consider what organisations can do to support their staff.

We are very pleased to see our clinic increasingly being involved with a number of events in London where we take the opportunity to highlight the physical and mental effects the perimenopause and menopause may have on working women, while also discussing its effects on men, family members, friends and colleagues. This week, we were delighted to be part of a panel of speakers at a special International Women’s Day Question Time on the 2024 theme of ‘Inspire Inclusion’ held at The Guildhall in the City of London.

You can view more about these events on our LinkedIn portal Medical Prime LinkedIn

Of course, our primary focus is to continue delivering high quality services to you within a holistic framework. With that in mind, we keep exploring new services and partnerships. Please look out for our next Newsletter for an update of announcements.

In the meantime, Happy International Women’s Day, today and every day!
